JSTE Online How to design and deliver an INTERACT event

The partnership of the European Project, INTERACT: “Innovative Cultural Heritage the Root of European Identity”, has successfully implemented the Joint Staff Training Event. The training took place virtually on Zoom, due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions and was organised by INTERACTING (Spain) and LOGOS NGO (Poland).

The first day included the following:

  • Icebreakers
  • Course overview
  • Sound and Vision
  • An interacting Model
  • The Spirits of Carabanchel
  • Connecting Stories to Routes
  • Narrators and characters
  • Review and Feedback

The second day included the following:

  • Overview of the day and Warm up
  • Principles and Practice of Promenade theatre
  • Practical preparation
  • Space
  • Visibility
  • Safety
  • Audio
  • Planning your route and stops
  • Starting and finishing, timing
  • Review and Feedback
  • Close and task for next week

The last day included the following:

  • Overview of the day and Warm up  
  • Interactions
  • Cultural Heritage, monuments, local environment Community
  • The Group itself
  • Reenactments and animating the walk.

All the tasks presented were combined with interactive activities using breakout rooms of Zoom.

We hope that all the partners, Find An internship, Interacting, Predict, Logos NGO and Youth Europe Service, gained some important knowledge on the topics discussed and that they will apply this knowledge and methods in their organisational contexts! The Joint Staff Training Activity was a very pleasant and enlightening experience and all partners contributed to the successful completion of it!
